Artificial Turf Installation Process
- Quote: Meet at the project location to obtain measurements and discuss design and turf type for your specific project
- Removal: Remove and dispose of existing organic material and landscape
- Basic Prep: Grade and Prep Area (includes capping of all flagged sprinkler heads)
- Compact: Compact (up to 3') concrete/gravel/paver sand aggregate and Level Area
- Application: Lay turf and Secure with turf stakes/nails/glue
- Finishing Touches: Power Broom Turf with Silica Sand infill (as required per turf type)
- Final: Final Walk-through with Artificial Turf Guy Owner, Josh to ensure the satisfaction of your project.
Turf TLC Maintenance / Turf Cleaning
Artificial Turf Grass is virtually maintenance free but a lil Turf TLC will help maximize the overall look and lifespan of your Artificial Turf investment.
Turf grass should be brushed with a power broom against the grain to help eliminate any debris and dust as well as stabilize the fibers. This maintenance technique is necessary for maximizing the overall look and life span of the artificial lawn.
Recommended Maintenenance
Artificial Turf Guy recommends Turf TLC Maintenance Service 2x per year for low-traffic areas, 3x per year for medium-traffic areas, and 4x per year for high-traffic areas. While artificial turf is virtually maintenance free a little Turf TLC helps maximize the overall look and lifespan of your synthetic lawn investment. Service visit includes deep cleaning with deodorizer infill application and power brooming. Cooling infill and turf repair add-ons are available at an additional cost.
Unlike many other synthetic lawn companies, we understand that over time pet urine and other organic materials can creat unwanted odors that will turn your new artificial turf grass into an less than acceptable experiance.
This is why it important to pick up solid pet waste immediately and blow other organic material off regularly to keep artificial turf looking as great as the day of installation! Following any pet waste pickup, rinse the turf area using mild soap or vinegar mixed with water and brush or rake to help flush any built-up bacteria out through the drainage. Weekly rinsing will help keep your turf area smelling fresh and odor free. Remember, the faster you can clean up a mess, the better!
